Barack Obama or Mitt Romney For President: You Choose

So, here we all are in 2012, just another election-year, or is it? Let's briefly look at some generalized concepts that are well with accepted in the United States of America today concerning these two candidates for President.

We all know that President Barack Obama inherited from President Bush one of the worst economic times in history of the United States. He knew when he took office that it was going to be a daunting task to restore economic stability in the United States.

So let’s briefly just look at the past four years of his Presidency, and what really happened. And more importantly, what did he do about it. The singular biggest objection that I would have been voting for President Obama to be reelected, is that he brought very little private business sector experience to the White House. However, he has an astounding team of advisors that has properly instructed him and helped him make the correct decisions over the past four years.

For instance was look at one item, the financial bailout. What most people do not understand about what President Obama did, was that the entire bailout process was designed to help the average American. We all know that the middle class of America is disappearing. If you were in that middle class, as I am, we’re going to be rich or broke in the very near future.

President Obama designed the bailout for one internal purpose to help the Americans. He saved the banks; we will use the financial bailout of the banks as the example, by lending many billions and billions of dollars to these institutions. So what was the actual purpose or intent of lending all this money for the financial system bailout to the banks?

The intent was for the banks once they had received the money, to turn around and quickly modify all of these home mortgage loans that were going underwater quicker than the Titanic went upside down. The whole situation was originally caused by the banks’ lending all of this money in questionable deals anyway.

So the ultimate plan was a two-step plan in which the banks were bailed out at the same time the average American family was bailed out. So what went wrong? What went wrong was the greedy banks did not modify the home loans because there was no legislation to force them to do such in return for the bailout money that they received. Imagine how much money would have flooded the economy, if just 20% of homes loans were modified in America between 2008 and 2010. 20% to 30% of American’s having between $200 and $1,200 per month more to spend. The crisis would have been over 2 years ago.

For instance in my case, I applied for a home modification loan, and was promptly denied stated by my mortgage lender that “I did not need it” because “my payments were on time” and my credit was good. That does not negate the fact that I have been out of work for two years and have no financial savings left after $750K in medical bills to pay the mortgage. And now no job.

So in the end President Obama did very well with this planning it was very well thought out and going to be a perfect plan, however, this did not happen. So what did President Obama did do?

He turned around, and working with Congress, made massive temporary changes to the unemployment system allowing people to receive longer-term unemployment because in the end the greedy banks had no intentions of letting loose of their money.

So let’s look at our next Presidential candidate briefly, hopeful Mitt Romney. The issue I have with that Romney is twofold. He is a wealthy American, and of course I have nothing against that. I am not even sure if I have a problem with he only pays 15% on average income taxes.

What I do have a problem with was watching his town hall discussion meeting in which he was describing that not only does his wife have two Cadillac’s to drive, but he was trying to give the impression that his family drives American-made cars.

So you might say that, well Mr. Romney has extensive private workforce experience in he might be good for the country. I don't think so, and I'll tell you why. If we're sitting in one of the worst economic disasters in American history, Mr. Romney needs to get up go to small-town America and look at all with the decaying homes, foreclosed homes, homeless shelters, soup lines, and all of the ghost towns.

So I'm watching television and here we sit in one worst economic disasters of history, and I'm watching Mr. Romney talking about his wife has not one but two Cadillac’s to drive. I think this is a smear to the average American and I do not think his words were well-chosen, and I think because of his wealth he will ultimately not have the ability to connect with average Joe America in today's disastrous economy.

He is not worried about his job, nor worried about his kid’s health, he is not worried about paying for health insurance, and he is not worried about where he will live in 90 days. What he is worried about is which Cadillac his wife will drive tomorrow. Hopeful Romney will never properly react timely and quickly to the economic disaster, as President Obama has done daily.

So in the end, I think this one is also a no-brainer, if president Obama has dug us out this far, I think he can finish the job. President Obama is not poor, by any means, but he has connected with the Average American trying not to go under tomorrow.

I really do not care what Mr. Romney's wife drives and how many of them she has to drive nor do I prefer to hear about it because I am more concerned about whether I'm going to lose my house in 2012 than what I'm driving. For the record, I do not have a Cadillac; I drive a 2002 Ford Expedition. Maybe I will go look to buy a Cadillac or two today, and everything will be O.K. tomorrow.

Review of Dragon Voice Recognition Software

Have you ever been tired of being strapped to a key board? I just recently purchased the new Dragon voice recognition software. This is a review of that software.

I purchased the software for $64.99. I load the software on my computer and went through the setup phase. I found the software to be very easy to use and was very and impressed how well it worked after I did the initial set up. The setup will take you about 30 min.

Dragon has the ability to not only learn and develop to your voice but it also comes preloaded with sets of different areas of the country or the world to match your voice. So far, I have used Dragon for three days now and it his work absolutely wonderfully.

I was very surprised at Dragon's ability to do so well right out of the gate. The software does take a little bit of getting used to, but not very much. And again, as you use the software more and more, it learns your voice and does very well at getting everything correct.

Dragon software can move very quickly and the software can type practically as fast as you can speak into the microphone. I find this to be very advantageous when you're trying to type something that thinking of in your head that you want to spitted out really quickly into the software.

Dragon has the great ability to learn as you go, and Dragon can't type as fast as you can speak. So, I do believe that Dragon is valuable software and has great ability to accomplish transcription in a very powerful way.

So if you are a transcriptionist, blogger, or a book writer, or any of these fields that you need to be able to transcribe thoughts quickly, I feel this is a very valuable software and again, I am highly impressed with the practicality and the usage of the software.

I do expect at some point as the software develops and gets better and better, that the keyboard will become a thing of the past. And not sent enough for me.
